We all know that the key to a healthy lifestyle is keeping yourself motivated. However, this is often difficult to maintain. It takes time and dedication to build good habits that can help sustain your long-term fitness goals.

At Cardio Legend, we believe in healthy living. We want to do our best to provide you with the motivation to get there. The 2015 National Society of Black Engineers Step Challenge makes every step you take count, by rewarding activity during this year’s convention.

How does this work? Its very simple:

Sync your steps during the convention with your iPhone or wearable device (Fitbit or Jawbone). While you are busy networking, the NSBE Step Challenge app will compile your steps from the Health App on your compatible iPhone or wearable device, and upload your steps to the Challenge Leaderboard.

If you are using a Jawbone or Fitbit device, you will be able to sync your steps using your Jawbone or Fitbit companion app. The NSBE Step Challenge app will automatically pull your data into the Challenge Leaderboard once you sync your steps with your companion app.

To sign-up for the challenge you will need to enter in the challenge passcode, which will be distributed by the NSBE organization prior to the convention.

At the end of each day, the person with the most steps taken will win a prize.

Want some more motivation? The person with the most steps throughout the entire convention will win the grand prize!

Winners will be announced during the convention at the Cardio Legend booth.

We do apologize, but if you do not have an iPhone 5, 6 or 6+, Jawbone or Fitbit device, you will not able to participant in the challenge. But hey, go right ahead and get fit with the rest of us and step away!!

Please note: The NSBE Step Challenge app is intended for members of the NSBE organization and/or participants of the 2015 Convention held in Anaheim, California. Individuals not associated with the 2015 Convention will not able to participate in the challenge.
